I am also a TLC Marriage Officer and carry out legal marriage ceremonies under the auspices of TLC Faith anywhere in Scotland — believing in the founding principles of LOVE, KINDNESS and RESPECT.

Let's think about your special day!
I am a TLC Marriage Officer and carry out legal marriage ceremonies anywhere in Scotland.

It doesn't matter whether you'd like a traditional wedding ceremony, a fun and upbeat day full of humour, or a quiet intimate moment together — you can have it the way you'd like and I'd be happy to help!
Whether that's a beautiful venue full of guests, an intimate ceremony at home or in a stunning location that's very special to you!

With your help, I'll help you plan your ceremony and you can have as many or as little of the usual elements in your ceremony depending on your preference.
The best way for you to gauge whether I'm the person for you is to get in touch and have a chat with me without any obligation.

QUESTIONS
Is It Legal?
Absolutely! — I am an authorised TLC Marriage Officer and can both officiate and solemnise your wedding ceremony for you in Scotland.
Where Can I Get Married?
Anywhere in Scotland! — From beautiful hotels, local venues, fabulous beauty spots or even your garden shed! It's really that simple.
Where Do I Start?
Once you've decided on your wedding date and venue, get in touch with me and I'll keep you right through the whole ceremony process.
In the first instance we meet up, have a chat, complete some important particulars, pay your initial payment to secure your date and then you settle the balance three months before your wedding date to allow you to budget.
During our chat, I'll give you plenty of ideas and you can run anything past me you'd like to include as well. We'll meet up again later so I can get to know your story and how you'd like the ceremony to go!
How Much Does It Cost?
See the FEES section below which explains it all for you, including any fees to register your intention to marry with your local registrar.

FUNERALS
A Personal Farewell
Making A Loved One's Farewell Unique...
I've been a family and funeral celebrant for over ten years now and with both funeral and memorial ceremonies, I like to make them warm, personal and authentic.
The circumstances around someone's passing often influence the feel and mood of a ceremony, however that said, celebrating a life is very much my way of thinking.
In essence, you can make a funeral or memorial ceremony as unique as we ourselves are and whether a tradition ceremony with hymns, or a celebratory ceremony full of humour and lovely stories — it's up to you.
There are times when this may be a bit more sensitive such as with infants and young people, or tragic times such as suicide and early illness. Again though, I'm always led by a family and will create a ceremony which best gives you the opportunity to make it special.
Most funeral directors in Dundee and surrounding areas will know me if you'd like to use me, just let them know to contact me. However you are welcome also to get in touch to see if I'm available, or even just for a chat.

QUESTIONS
How Do I Book You?
All you need to do is to pass my name and details to your funeral director. They will then contact me to check availability with me, and then appoint me officially. My fee is included in your funeral director costs. (see FEES)
You can also book me directly and settle any fees yourself should you wish to.
What Happens Next?
Once appointed by a funeral director or you yourself, I'll arrange to come and visit you at home or by video call if you are out of the area. This will be very informal to keep things relaxed.
Our visit will last around 1.5 hours, and during this visit we'll chat about the life of your loved one and I'll gather all the information I need to write a ceremony for them. You always approve the ceremony before I conduct it on the day.
Fees must be settled before the ceremony date unless booked through a funeral director.
Can I Speak During The Ceremony?
Yes of course! This can be a scary prospect, so I'll always need a copy of the exact words to be spoken, just so I'm prepared in case something goes wrong or someone needs help on the day.
ANYTHING ELSE, give me a call.

FEES
How Much Does It Cost?
Everything Is Transparent...
Fees for each kind of ceremony are generally split into two sections.
WEDDINGS
Wedding ceremonies and Vow Renewals are fixed fees, but due in two separate payments or if preferred, paid in full.
A booking for a wedding or vow renewal ceremony is secured only by an initial payment, or by being paid in full.
WEDDING CEREMONY — £600
VOW RENEWALS — £400
The above fees are the total fees payable for each. An initial payment is made of £200 to secure your wedding / vow renewal date. The balance is due THREE months before the ceremony date.
NOTE: Local registrar fees are applicable when submitting an M10 intention to marry. This is payable to the registrar directly. This is usually around £90 per couple and £10 for them to issue a Marriage Schedule. I'll keep you right with this, it is done within 12 weeks of your wedding date normally.
FUNERALS
Funeral / Memorial fees are payable through your funeral director if you are using one. The funeral director will settle my fees with me directly and are included in your quote.
If you are booking directly with me, fees are due at the time of meeting with you to prevent credit control and chasing for payment during a sensitive time after the ceremony.
FUNERAL CEREMONY — £210
MEMORIAL CEREMONY — £210
UNDER 18 CEREMONIES — £FREE

QUESTIONS
What Are Wedding Payment Terms?
Initial payments for wedding / vow renewal ceremonies are non-refundable as cancellation means filling the date again may not be possible and therefore lost business.
The remaining balance is due THREE months before the wedding ceremony date and this is not refundable, unless due to extenuating circumstances and at the celebrant's discretion.
What Are Funeral Payment Terms?
IMPORTANT: This is only applicable to those paying directly, and not if you are dealing with a funeral director.
Due to the sensitive nature of Funeral / Memorial ceremonies, fees are due on the day of the home visit and are not refundable to avoid chasing / debt incursion at a difficult time after the ceremony.
If payment is not made prior to the ceremony, the ceremony will not go ahead and will not be provided.
Are There Any Travel Costs?
Travel costs may be necessary depending on the location of our home visits and also where your ceremony is to be located. There are no travel costs in and around the Dundee area.
How Can I Pay?
You are welcome to pay by cash or bank transfer. You will be issued a receipt for your payment to confirm.
